Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if the Soul Purpose Journey is right for me?

This is a big question, but as a starting point, tune into your intuition as you read these criteria for the Soul Purpose Journey. You will need to:

  1. have a longing to know your purpose OR a longing to live your purpose more fully

  2. a desire to connect more deeply with your own soul, your deepest self, your deepest knowing, love, wisdom and belonging - or however you experience your soul

  3. have the time and space for this immersion - minimum 3-4 hours per week is essential, over 6 months.

  4. be willing to do experiential practice on your own, each week. You do not have to do all the practices - you choose the ones you prefer, but this is an experiential process so practice is vital. A big clue to this being right for you is that you light up when you ready the list of practices we explore, down below.

  5. If you are still not sure and like to get more of an idea of the terrain we will be covering, have a read of: Soulcraft by Bill Plotkin and/or Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. If you are inspired by either or both of those books, then the Soul Purpose Immersion may be a good fit for you.

If those things are in place, but you are still not sure, you are welcome to have a 30 minute free zoom chat where we can work out if this work is a good fit for you. See button below.

How do I know when the timing is right?

The timing is usually right when your intuition, heart, gut or your life is showing you that now is the time to follow your longing to know or live your purpose or to go deeper into your soulful journey. The messages might come in a dramatic way, such as a relationship ending, chronic illness, depression or job loss that might propel you into seeking purpose. Or there may be a gentler but persistent feeling that you are not living true to something deep inside. The timing is right if you feel ready to do some deep soul-self reflection and you have space and time in your life for this deeply investigative and transformational process.

The timing is not usually right when: your life is full to the brim and you cannot fit another thing in; you do not want change; you do not have the space or desire to explore inner terrain - or you are joyfully living your fullest, deepest life.

How much time each week will I need to put aside for the Soul Purpose Journey?

Over 6 months, you will need to spend 3-4 hours minimum a week doing the practices, done any time during the week + a 1.5 hour mentoring session every fortnight at a time that suits you + as well as a day long solo ceremony.

The practices usually evoke transformation and growth, so if you have more time that is great, but 3-4 hours a week will be enough. You have lifetime access to all the practices so you can return to them whenever you want to.

What practices are explored on the Soul Purpose Journey?

There are 60+ practices in the Soul Purpose Journey. As you look at the long and diverse list below of practices offered, remember that you do not need to do all the practices. The mentoring sessions help you work out which practices will be best for your unique soul purpose journey. There are 5-7 practices to choose from each fortnight. You have lifetime access to all the practices so some of them you may return to later.

Can I get a refund if I decide to stop the Soul Purpose Journey part way through?

Yes! You will get a refund for the portion of the Soul Purpose Journey that you have not completed (even if that is most of the journey), minus a $100 administration fee. You can stop any time and this refund is happily given. Each fortnight you receive the next module and mentoring session, so your refund will be for what you have not received. Your full enthusiastic participation is needed, so I am very happy to return your money if you choose to discontinue.

What is the soul?

The soul is your unique essence, an energetic blueprint or individualised map that is yours alone. It is your unique psychological and ecological niche in the world and holds your unique qualities, gifts and ways of being.

If you want to explore more, you can read my blog piece The Golden Thread of Soul. I also highly recommend the books Soulcraft or Journey of Soul Initiation by Bill Plotkin and Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

How does soul work lead to finding purpose?

Life purpose is more than what you do: it is who you are at your core and why you are here. This is what the soul reveals: your deepest self. Your soul-self holds your purpose, like a seed, waiting to be discovered and lived. Authentic encounters with soul can reveal three powerful gifts: unshakeable love, your place of belonging in the world and your deepest purpose.

Can I pause this immersion part-way through?

Yes! You can have a pause in this immersion if you need to, for whatever reason. This pause can be for 1-2 months. Life happens and there is an intuitive flow to soul work that does not always fit into logical plans - so I am happy to be adaptable.

Do I need to meet Anahata before joining?

Yes! If I have not worked with or met you before, then please have a 30-40 minute zoom chat with me, so we can connect and see if we are a good fit to work together within the sacred mentoring relationship, for this deep dive immersion. See the button below.
